Biography

Amanda is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in Munich, Germany, in a family of musicians. She got in touch with the world of sounds and singing as a child and learned to play the guitar, an instrument that always accompanies her on stage. Thus, her friends say: «Amanda sang before she could speak».

Her solo project Encantada was born in 2021 in the Spanish city Salamanca, where she began to perform in public spaces, museums and bars. The name of her project comes from the richness that Spanish, as her second language, allows her; a word that cannot be literally translated into German and that finds its center in what she likes and loves.

Encantada presents an acoustic musical proposal that has influences of protest songs, Latin pop and bossa nova, creating lively sounds that make the audience enjoy presentations with a lot of power and color, through the naturalness and versatility of her great vocal capacity. Her songs contain mainly autobiographical content, in which she narrates experiences and tries to convey the sensations and perceptions that she has lived through.

Artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Mercedes Sosa, KeTeKalles and La Muchacha are her greatest musical references and that is also why she has often interpreted their songs on stage, in live performances and videos for social networks – for Encantada, the greatest value lies in the ability to reshape music and words to convey messages.
